“Repensar, reciclar, renovar” is the slogan of the 13th Rio Fashion Week. This year, the event is focused on renovation and recycling processes, which are indispensable both for the planet safeguard and the fashion industry.
Among the prestigious 40 showcases by Brazilian designers there is exciting 2009 swimwear show from Lenny.
Again, there is the trendy one-shoulder-stripe one-piece swimsuit just like the 2008 Gucci one. It is fantastic in cherry red and even better in metallic dark blue. Being a full piece in the front it reveals the graceful back.
High street fashion is the direction the world is going for in 2009. I can see Agyness Deyn wearing Lenny. If you’re an indigo party girl this is a collection you can be heading for, though some pieces of the collection have the more natural safari look to it.
The summer is ought to be hot: go for high street fashion or safari. My suggestion is that roundy busty girls go for safari and skinny long legged beauties do high street. You decide.
Mixing must be on edge. Extended elongated bracelets are excellent addition to any swim suit.

It's about time to dress up for spring! It's the time to manage your wardrobe and get some fashionable pieces for refreshing spring weather and hot summer days. Let's take a look at hottest trends for spring and summer 2008.
If you're looking for trendy patterns of spring-summer 2008, reveal the blossom of your beauty with floral prints. Look for clothes with flower motives all over them, because a single herb embroidered on a blouse or jacket is not enough. If you don't feel like wearing colorful floral patterns, there's another classic combination ready for spring and summer. It doesn't matter if you choose black on white or white on black - it will be the most fashionable pattern of the season. All possible combinations of B&W ruled the runways and they will rule the streets for sure. Let's not forget ethnic trend; it's on top once again. Choose tribal inspired patterns and ikat fabric clothing and combine it with chunk tribal jewelry to create a safari-chic image.
Can you imagine spring fashion without a skirt or a dress? Spring and summer trends wouldn't be complete without amazing dress. Squishy skirt is the top for spring and it will hold its positions on summer as well. Choose high-waist silk organza skirt to stun everyone. This type of skirt looks great with another fashionable detail: the cropped jacket. The fashionable length of skirt and dresses became shorter; even though the knee-length remains popular, the hottest trend is a few inches above the knees.
Feminine glamour will take over all the women. Forget the image of bad girl and look like a lady, because you are one. Highlight your figure with lovely little dresses and see-through details. Naughty decorations are recommended for spring and summer of 2008: outfit decorated with ribbons, lace and bows will make you feel and look very feminine. Corset as outwear is trendy once again; wear it on top of shirt for sexy sophisticated look. The trend of transparent clothing doesn't make you walk around half naked: playing hide-and-seek with several layers makes you appear mysterious and alluring. Glamorous ancient Roman inspired dress is another fashionable wear of spring and summer 2008.
These
days fashion trends these days come and go so fast, that we are
no longer faced with just 3 or 4 ideas to create a really inspired personal
fashion wardrobe. Even so, your body shape, height and your personal style, all affect
how you select a new fashion look from fashion trends of Spring
Summer 2008. Review how best to work the
current trends onto your body type, whilst creating a desirable image.
Spring is the classic time to pan your wardrobe replacements,
review essentials and indulge with impulsive treats.
Faced with so much fashion on offer the question is always where to start. If you need fast entry into image planning updating then two specific trends of the clutch bag and the fuller skirt style will see you sail through Summer 2008. Essentially, the main fashion trend of 2008 is still for dress variations.
We see a great design idea from Dolce and Gabbana which has fuelled many of the mass market designs in the shops. Next to it is a black and white outfit from Oasis and left above, is a New Look Spring Summer 2008 white skirt. Both are takes on the fabulous Dolce and Gabbana brocade skirt shown right.

Dresses
Reality: You can give current trends a nod by opting for great prints and updated touches (like a wide belt). Not all dresses are created equal, so find a dress that works for your body type.
Sporty
Reality: Shorts lose their "for tourists only" status and make a comeback in both short and longer lengths.
Longer-length shorts -- a.k.a. bermudas, walking shorts,
skimmers -- look best in a slim cut (beware cuffs: they add weight).
Anything too full and knee-length will add lots of heft around the
hips, where most women can least afford it. With a matching jacket, the
bermuda short can go to to work.
Make sure you don't ruin the casual-dress vibe of shorts with a
shoe that's too dainty or dressy: a chunky platform, ballerina flat or
simple thong sandal works better than a stiletto.
Brights
Reality:You're better off choosing a bright that flatters
your coloring (blues and pinks are often easiest) than just choosing
what's hot (like bright yellow).
Don't be tempted to mix the brights with black (too '80s). Pair with white, denim or other brights for the freshest look.
Reality: Ethnic prints are a classic, but that doesn't mean just anyone can wear them. First, you'll need to scale the size of the print to your body type (larger prints for larger or taller women, and vice versa).
Fun Florals
Reality: To look modern, you need to pass on the ditsy little prints and go for something bright and bold, like hot pink or bright blue; graphic black and white floral prints are great, too. Floral embellisments don't have to just be in a print; look for flower embellishment, tone-on-tone embroidery and accessories, too.
Patent
Reality: Black patent -- either in a wide belt or clutch bag -- is the easiest to wear. Bright patent pieces add plenty of pop -- orange, bright blue, red -- so pair them with something equally strong like graphic black and white outfits.
MetallicsReality: You might have metallic overdose because it's been
around for so many seasons, but this time try metallics in apparel
pieces instead of just accessories. Soft gold or silver lurex or lace
pieces have just the right touch of shine for daytime. Mix daytime
pieces with white for a fresh, warm-weather look. For after-five, the
more subdued metallics work, but you can also up the gleam factor with
big gold and silver spangles and beaded short dresses.
Boho Chic
Runway: Crazy prints and knee-high boots create a luxe hippie chick look.
Reality: Add a touch of boho with easy separates. A peasant blouse like this one from Lucky Brand or a sweeping skirt add a carefree vibe.
A Hemline for Everyone
Reality: While the extremes look theatrical, most women look best in a hemline that falls around the knee (above, at or below) or mid-calf.
Wide-Leg Pants
Runway: Wide-leg pants rule the runway.
Reality: Wide doesn't have to mean bulky. Look for softer wide -leg pants, or go with bootcut pants for a hint of width at the hem.
